Luftbildauswertung
Die moderne Luftbildauswertung basiert auf historischen Aufnahmen aus den Archiven der USA und Großbritannien. Die Fotos zeigen das Ausmaß der Bombardierungen und Kampfhandlung während des Zweiten Weltkrieges.
Für die Kampfmittelräumung sind diese Bilder eine unverzichtbare Informationsquelle, um die Gefahrenquelle von Kampfmitteln auf Flächen einzuschätzen. Die Luftbilder geben Hinweise auf Bombardierungen, Zerstörungen durch Artilleriebeschuss und Orte von Stellungskämpfen.
