Die Tauber Erdbau Umwelt GmbH (TEU) ist ein Spezialist für Erd- und Tiefbau und Sanierungsmaßnahmen. Eines ihrer aktuellen Projekte ist die Vorbereitung der Fläche eines ehemaligen Rangierbahnhofs in Duisburg-Wedau. Der Rangierbahnhof wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg stark bombardiert und ist daher mit Altlasten und Kampfmitteln verseucht.
Die Sanierung der Fläche erfordert eine sorgfältige Planung und Durchführung, um die Sicherheit aller Beteiligten zu gewährleisten. Die oberste Schicht des Bodens ist mit alten Einbauten und Schadstoffen wie Asbest belastet und muss vorsichtig abgetragen werden. Insgesamt werden ca. 50.000 Kubikmeter Boden abgetragen, teilweise zwischengelagert und teilweise entsorgt. Die fachgerechte Entsorgung ist dabei ein wichtiger Aspekt des Umweltschutzes, um zu vermeiden, dass schädliche Stoffe im Boden verbleiben oder ins Grundwasser gelangen.
TAUBER überzeugt bei der Maßnahme mit einem Rundum-Service, der die Kampfmittelräumung und den Erdbau aus einer Hand anbietet. Hierbei arbeiten die Abteilungen der TAUBER Unternehmensgruppe eng zusammen. Das ermöglicht stets kurze Abstimmungs- und Entscheidungswege und eine schnelle Anpassung an die Gegebenheiten vor Ort.
Vor Ort wurden schon einige Schritte der Maßnahme erfolgreich erledigt. Sobald die Kampfmittelfreigabe vorhanden war, wurde die Geländeprofilierung durchgeführt. „Das bedeutet, dass wir den tieferliegenden Bereich wieder aufgefüllt und in den höherliegenden Bereichen weiter abgetragen haben, bis eine Sollhöhe erreicht war“, erklärt Oberbauleiter Roger Nebelo. Das Bodenmanagement ist dabei auch ein maßgeblicher Aspekt des Umweltschutzes, wie der Geschäftsführer der Tauber Erdbau Umwelt GmbH, Michael Fehrenz, erklärt: „Früher war Asbest hoch im Kurs, heute weiß man um die Gefahren des Schadstoffs und muss diesen entsorgen. Uns ist es wichtig, fachgerecht zu sanieren und die Flächen wieder sauber für die weitere Nutzung zu übergeben.“
Das Projekt wird voraussichtlich Anfang nächsten Jahres beendet und ist für die TEU ein nahezu perfektes Musterbeispiel, das ihre Stärken in den Bereichen Erdbau und Sanierung zeigt. Gleichzeitig ist das Projekt ein gutes Beispiel für den ihr wichtigen Umweltschutz, da die Flächen wieder so hergestellt werden, dass sie gefahrstofffrei und wieder nutzbar sind.
