Herr Töns und Herr Knuth sind seit Jahrzehnten unverzichtbare Fachkräfte in unserer Werkstatt, denen ich meinen größten Dank aussprechen möchte“, hieß es von Geschäftsführer Jan-Bernd Kappelhoff. In einer kleinen Feierstunde bedankte er sich im Namen der TAUBER Unternehmensgruppe bei den beiden Jubilaren Erich Töns und Karsten Knuth.
Seit 40 Jahren arbeitet der ausgebildete Kfz-Mechaniker Erich Töns schon in der Werkstatt, die ihren Sitz mittlerweile in Greven (NRW) hat. Als Industriemechaniker widmet er sich seit dem 1. Juli 1982 mit besonderer Vorliebe PKW’s und Baumaschinen. „Es kam auch schon vor, dass ich als Baggerfahrer oder auf Baustellen eingesprungen bin, Abwechslung gab es immer“, verrät er. Ob es sich anfühlt wie 40 Dienstjahre? „Nein, die Zeit ist so schnell vergangen, ich bin immer noch froh hier zu sein“, antwortet Töns.
1987 nahm Karsten Knuth als einer der letzten Schlosser die Ausbildung zum Betriebsschlosser am damaligen Standort Münster auf. Seither habe er sich keinen einzigen Tag in seinem Job gelangweilt. „Wir arbeiten immer wieder an spannenden Projekten, entwickeln viel selbst, es ist immer viel Abwechslung da und gemeinsam setzen wir viele gute Ideen um“, schwärmt der gelernte Schlosser. Eins seiner Steckenpferde ist die Arbeit am Mobilkran. „So kann es weitergehen“, freut er sich.
