Test field in Greven

The area with a size of more than 4,400 square meters is located in Münsterland and is used for geophysical investigation of various aspects of ordnance clearance. In addition to various test objects, vertical and inclined tubes are also buried. They allow visitors to sample a wide range of objects at different depths and orientations.

All geophysical measuring methods used in the clearance of ordnance can be simulated on the site and practical experience gathered with the devices used. The test site comprises a dedicated borehole field for the investigation of anomalies in borehole measurements – including a sheet piling area and an area for detecting pipes and objects in the proximity of pipes. It is also suitable for drone flights.
